Los Angeles Lakers Break Down the Losing Streak by beating Portland Trail Blazers

Anthony Davis scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 99-94 to snap a three-game losing streak.

Portland suffered their third consecutive defeat, and fifth in six games, thanks to Carmelo Anthony’s 24 points.

The Lakers were once again without their icon, LeBron James, who was out with a swollen knee.

For the Trail Blazers at la Angeles, Norman Powell had 30 points and Anfernee Simons had 19.

They are still missing star guard Damian Lillard, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, but they will play their next five games at home.

Spencer Dinwiddie led the Washington Wizards to a 106-103 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers with a triple-double of 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Lu Dort scored 14 of his 30 points in overtime as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Dallas Mavericks 120-114.

Rookie Tre Mann set a career best with 29 points as the Thunder won consecutive games for the first time since December.

The Brooklyn Nets dropped their sixth game in a row, 112-101 against the Sacramento Kings.

The Orlando Magic rallied from behind to defeat the Indiana Pacers 119-118 thanks to Gary Harris’ 22 points and Wendell Carter Jr’s 19.

The Pacers led by 17 points in the third quarter, points to Caris LeVert’s 26 points, before Harris scored 10 in the fourth.

At Madison Square Garden, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the New York Knicks 120-108.

Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 23 points and nine assists, while Knicks standout Julius Randle was tossed in the last minute for a second technical foul after scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists.
